Silk Wedding Dress
Thursday, 08 September 2016 / Published in wedding dress

Silk Wedding Dress Is a Classic Elegance

In search of a wedding dress, a bride faces the necessity to choose an expressive silhouette. It defines an external shape, an outline of a figure, allows finding interesting angles for photos. However, another feature deserves close attention.
The foundation of a wedding dress is its fabric. It models the beautiful shape of the silhouette.
Silk wedding dress deserves particular attention. Admirable shine, smooth surface, durability, excellent shape maintaining characterize the silk.

Advantages of Silk Wedding Dress

Thin threads, which are the base of the silk cloth, provide the beauty of its surface and ecological properties.Silk Wedding Dress
The comfortable tactile feelings, air permeability and absence of negative impacts on the skin are also important distinguishing characteristics of the silk.
The silk is a very rich fabric, which determines the variety of designers` solutions of silk wedding dresses. Moreover, the smooth surface of the silk with typical texture provides the amplest opportunities for the imagination of a couturier.

Silk “Keeps” the Shape

The complex draperies and large textile decorations are extraordinarily expressive in silk wedding dress.
So, one can easily drape the silk, forming beautiful “cracks”. Designers use this solution widely. On the skirts of different plumpness, the diagonal draperies twin around the trunk and tiebacks. They create an interesting, almost not predictable graphical pattern of play of light and shadow. Thus, it adds a spectacular note of unique design to a silk wedding dress.

Design of a Wedding Smooth Silk Dress

The silk surface is good not only for draperies. Consequently, the absence of a pattern and special character of gleam invite to mark jewel design on the shining silk plain.
The exquisite embroidery is extraordinarily spectacular with beading, pearls, crystals against the background of elegant silk gleam.
So, one can accentuate some parts of the dress. For example, use jewel decoration for its decollete outline, the constructional cutout of a lengthened bodice and the natural waist underline. The fragments of jewel appliques fix both folds and fanciful tiebacks.
The silk is notable for the exquisite luxury of texture, mat gleam and pleasant tactile characteristics.

Exclusive Silk Design

Couturiers decorate models with complex textile fine silk elements twining around hips. Silk descends with three-dimensional garlands from a shoulder to the hem of wedding dresses from thicker silk cloth. By the way, designers can also drape the fabric in fancy shirts and tiebacks.
Large flowers and handmade bows decorate straps, sleeves, a removable bolero, skirt and feminine bustles.
The silk prompts designers to create a compound, unique wedding dresses with interesting, complex textile design. In addition, much is handcrafted. Thus, the three-dimensional construction details, buttonholes and draperies reveal sculpturesque expression of this luxury fabric and show its exquisite beauty.

Sizing Guide

Dresses standard length is 120 cm /48 inch/ from the waistline to the floor.

We always recommend having a professional take all of your measurements. For the most accurate measurements, don’t measure over your clothing. Your dress size measurements should be taken while wearing undergarments similar to the ones you will wear with your dress. The measuring tape shouldn’t be pulled too tight or have too much slack, and should always be parallel to the floor.

Bust: Place the measuring tape across your nipples and measure around the largest part of your chest. Be sure to keep the tape parallel to the floor
Waist: Place the measuring tape about a 1/2 inch above your bellybutton (at the narrowest part of your waist) to measure around your torso. When measuring your waist, exhale and measure before inhaling again.
Hips: Place the measuring tape across the widest part of your hips/buttocks and measure all the way around while keeping the tape parallel to the floor.

All dresses on our website can be custom made to exact measurements if you provide us with your custom sizes. If you decide to order standard size, you may use the following charts to map your measurements to the closest size to be ordered. If your measurements indicate one size for the “bust” and a different size for the “waist and/or hips”, we suggest ordering according to the largest measurement. Dresses can easily be taken in by a skilled tailor or professional seamstress.
