Please note that there is a £20 Bridal Consultation fee for weekend and late evening Bridal appointments from 5 pm. The fee is fully redeemable for the purchase of a dress.
As we need to take payment/card details securely, we kindly ask these bookings to be made by phone.
Should you wish to cancel your appointment, we will require 48 hours notice by email. Cancellations after this time frame will be charged on standard appointment fee of £20.
If you would love to change any of wedding dress designs available in collections, made to measure service will be available for you.
If you would love to meet the designer, please, note it to the shop manager when scheduling your appointment. Designer’s consultations are free.
1. What is the size range of your samples?
Our standard samples come in sizes 8 to 10, and we do also have some 12’s of several samples. However, we can always make them fit for both larger and smaller brides so you can get an idea of what the actual dress will look like.
2. How long does the appointment take?
Our appointments are 50 minutes long, and they start on every new hour, so please be as punctual as possible so that running late doesn’t eat up your allocated styling time.
3. Can I bring friends and family to the appointment?
Absolutely. We recommend that you invite two or three friends or family members (whose opinion you value most) to join you for the appointment.
4. What happens during my bridal consultation?
During your appointment you have a stylist helping you make a selection of dresses, and you can try on as many as possible within the time frame. There will be someone helping you change the dresses so they are handled carefully, and you will be offered styling advice and also encouraged to try on dresses you might not normally consider to ensure you are making the right decision.
5. Do I need to bring shoes with me?
You are more than welcome to bring your wedding shoes or a similar pair with you to the styling session; however, we do have heels in size 7 available at the boutique.
6. I am planning on losing weight before the wedding – when should I do the dress fitting?
If you are planning on losing extreme amounts of weight before the wedding, then please let us know in advance so we can schedule your measurement and fitting appointments as late as physically possible. Please consider though that you will be charged if you continue losing weight after the fittings have been done or if a dramatic size difference happens after your initial measuring once the dress is ordered. You will be charged an extra fee for all alterations, so please bear that in mind.
7. What do I do If I want a bespoke wedding dress made?
If you’re set on the idea of a bespoke bridal gown, be advised that this service starts at £1000 upwards. You will ideally need to bring pictures and Pinterest mood boards to your appointment so you can give us an idea as to what you want your dream dress to be like. We can then source fabrics and design your dress together with you once you have decided that we are the ones to make this dream become a reality and once you have paid a deposit.
8. Do’s and don’ts
Please do not wear any lipstick, heavy foundation or fake tan to your consultation appointments or dress fittings, as there is a high risk of it coming off onto the dress. We cannot be held responsible for any makeup transferred onto your selected dress if you choose to do any of the above, and it will be your responsibility to try and get the makeup removed. If you have traveled by public transport to your appointment, it’s always advisable to wash your hands before you try on your wedding dress to ensure that no dirt of your hands is transferred onto the gown during the fitting session.
