Bridal Clutch Bags: Elegant and Necessary Wedding Accessories

What Bridal Clutch Bag Is

In the wedding hustle and bustle, it is possible to track off some very important bridal accessories that will not only play a special role in creating the bridal look but also perform certain useful functions. And the bridal clutch bags belong to these accessories. Undoubtedly, this bag will help you always have the most necessary little things on hand. So, what a bridal clutch bag is? Well, a small laconic bag that is easy to hold in the palm of your hand is what we are talking about. Moreover, at the wedding ceremony, it is pleasant to have such a bag as a place where you can put a lipstick, compact powder, pocket mirror, mobile phone, and other little things which every woman may need.

When you choose a wedding clutch bag, you have first to understand what is more important to you, that is, to have the clutch just at the wedding ceremony or use it further in everyday life. What is the difference between the evening bag and the bridal bag? Of course, they differ in appearance. Thus, a bridal clutch bag is often ivory because the ivory colour is the main one for the brides. However, today pastel toned clutches, or silver and gold ones are also very popular among brides.

Bridal Clutch Bags: Peculiarities of Choice

The debate on the need for bridal clutch bags never stops. And both the supporters and the opponents of this accessory can find many pros and cons. Nevertheless, if you still find a place for a bridal clutch bag in your festive wardrobe, you need to think well and search for the most suitable option of such an accessory.

First of all, you have to decide what you are going to put in your clutch. That is, it will help determine the size of your wedding clutch bag – small or larger one. Secondly, you should also pay attention to the clutch colour and the fabric of which it is made. Thus, the bag can be the same colour and made of the same fabric as the wedding dress.

Besides, the colour and fabric of the clutch can completely differ from those of the bridal gown. And this will be a kind of the bridal look highlight. If the bride uses the other bridal accessories and the contrasting colour wedding attire elements, she can choose a clutch bag to match these accessories and elements. By the way, it is possible to buy a bridal clutch bag along with a wedding dress. However, it is not obligatory since you can always pick up the fabric which suits your bridal gown.

The designers make the bridal bags of leather, faux leather, silk, satin, velvet, velour, and other materials. As for decorations, here nothing, except for the sense of taste and common sense, limits the designer’s fantasy. So, choosing the right clutch bag, you should make sure that its style fits your general bridal look.

Sizing Guide

Dresses standard length is 120 cm /48 inch/ from the waistline to the floor.

We always recommend having a professional take all of your measurements. For the most accurate measurements, don’t measure over your clothing. Your dress size measurements should be taken while wearing undergarments similar to the ones you will wear with your dress. The measuring tape shouldn’t be pulled too tight or have too much slack, and should always be parallel to the floor.

Bust: Place the measuring tape across your nipples and measure around the largest part of your chest. Be sure to keep the tape parallel to the floor
Waist: Place the measuring tape about a 1/2 inch above your bellybutton (at the narrowest part of your waist) to measure around your torso. When measuring your waist, exhale and measure before inhaling again.
Hips: Place the measuring tape across the widest part of your hips/buttocks and measure all the way around while keeping the tape parallel to the floor.

All dresses on our website can be custom made to exact measurements if you provide us with your custom sizes. If you decide to order standard size, you may use the following charts to map your measurements to the closest size to be ordered. If your measurements indicate one size for the “bust” and a different size for the “waist and/or hips”, we suggest ordering according to the largest measurement. Dresses can easily be taken in by a skilled tailor or professional seamstress.
